Our Role

Curated China is a travel design service. We design custom itineraries and connect you with licensed Chinese inbound tour operators who deliver ground services (guides, drivers, hotels, transportation, permits).

Booking Process

When you accept our proposal, you confirm a contract directly with the executing inbound operator. We facilitate communication and oversight but are not the operator of record. The operator is responsible for delivering services according to the agreed itinerary.

Payment

Booking typically requires a deposit (usually 30%) to confirm. Final payment terms are detailed in your specific proposal. All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise.

Cancellations

Cancellation terms vary by tier and supplier (hotels, flights). Specific cancellation terms are detailed in each proposal. We strongly recommend travel insurance.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is the traveler's responsibility. For Tibet travel, comprehensive insurance is required.

Visas

Visas are the traveler's responsibility. We provide guidance about visa-free policies and requirements but cannot process visas. Embassy decisions are entirely outside our control.

Limitation of Liability

Curated China acts as a travel designer and intermediary. We are not liable for actions or omissions of the operator, hotels, airlines, or other suppliers. Force majeure events (weather, government actions, public health) are outside our control.
